What Is A Boom Lift?

Boom lifts are a type of aerial lift that is mainly used to carry out outdoor jobs, industrial tasks and construction projects that require horizontal as well as vertical reach at great heights or hard-to-reach places.

They consist of a grounded base, a long arm and a workspace platform. The base is often equipped with wheels for ease of movement. The long arm is controlled by an extendable hydraulic system in order to transport people or materials on the workspace platform towards the desired location.
